Cheap LCD TVs

0

LCD televisions will account for 33 percent of the global TV market this year, up from 21 percent in 2006, according to Lehman Brothers. LCD TVs will overtake glass-tube sets as the biggest TV technology in 2008, according to DisplaySearch.

Because of overproduction LCD TVs have become much cheaper making them affordable alternatives for the classic CRT televisions. Last year it was difficult to find a good LCD TV for a price below R20,000. Currently the prices of those sets are considerably lower.
